When you visit the site

The web server, and any services used to deliver or protect the site, receive the technical information needed to return a page. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, and the time of the request. That information may also appear in operational or security logs.

Calling or using WhatsApp

The call and WhatsApp links work whether or not you accept analytics. Selecting a call link asks your device to start a telephone call. Selecting a WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp so that you can review and send your own message; this website never sends one automatically.

A click does not send your job details to this website. Your telephone provider or WhatsApp handles the connection under its own terms. If you contact Arkley Scaffolding, the business receives the number, profile details and job information that you choose to share and uses them to discuss and respond to your enquiry.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is optional. The Google tag is requested only when a dedicated Arkley measurement ID has been configured and you have selected Accept analytics. If the measurement ID is not configured, choosing accept does not connect to Google Analytics.

When active, analytics records page views and two types of contact click: call_click and whatsapp_click. A contact-click event contains only a fixed placement label, such as header, hero, contact or footer. It does not contain the phone number, WhatsApp address, message text, job details, or values taken from a page query string. Click counts show that a link was activated; they do not prove that a call, message, enquiry or job followed.

Google may process technical details about the browser and device in order to provide Analytics. Advertising tracking, user IDs and session recording are not part of this website setup.

Cookies and preference storage

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser so the site can remember it. The site first uses local storage and also writes a first-party preference cookie named arkley_analytics_consent, which expires after one year. This storage is used only to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics.

If browser storage is unavailable, the site still works and keeps your choice for the current page, but may need to ask again later. After you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies whose names begin with _ga. Rejecting analytics does not load the Google tag. Withdrawing a previous acceptance disables analytics, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page without the tag.
